PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination mechanism capable of improving brightness of a display part while securing a light-shielding property. SOLUTION: In the illumination mechanism provided with first and second display parts 1d, 1e, LEDs 5, 6 arranged at a rear-face side of each display part 1d, 1e, and a case 3 having a barrier rib part 3d fitted between respective light paths connecting the display parts 1d, 1e with the LEDs 5, 6, and so structured that each light path is surrounded by a side wall part 3a and an inner wall face of the barrier rib part 3d of the case 3, the case 3 is so structured to be formed of white-color ABS resin containing titanium oxide by 6 to 10 wt.%, and carbon black by 0.005 to 0.03 wt.%.
