PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a desired detection sensitivity while preventing a space required for arrangement of a sensor from enlarging. SOLUTION: The collision sensor 10 for vehicles is configured by comprising a flexible substrate 23, where a wiring pattern consisting of specified signal wiring 21 and grounding wiring 22 is formed on the substrate body 23a, a plurality of piezoelectric elements 24, and a pair of insulating protective films 25 and 25. The flexible substrate 23 loaded with a plurality of piezoelectric elements 24 is covered with a pair of insulating protective films 25 and 25 so as to interleave it from both sides in the thickness direction.
