PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition having excellent properties for preventing formation of wrinkles of clothes after laundering, and excellent detergency; and to provide a cleaning or finishing method using the detergent composition for cleaning or finishing the clothes. SOLUTION: The detergent composition contains 1-80 wt.% surfactant, 0.01-10 wt.% polyglycerol-type modified silicone and 0.1-20 wt.% cationized polymer.
