PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for a passenger conveyor capable of considerably shortening the installation working time at an installation site. SOLUTION: The handrail for the passenger conveyor comprises a reinforced glass panel 3 erected on both sides of movable tread plates which are connected to each other in an endless manner, a supporting member 8 fitted to and supported by an upper end side of the reinforced glass panel 3, a handrail frame 4 arranged on an upper portion of the reinforced glass panel 3, a guide rail 5 arranged above the handrail frame 4, and a movable guardrail attached to the guide rail 5. A connection member 9 is provided between the guide rail 5 and the handrail frame 4, the handrail frame 4 and the supporting member 8 are integrally fastened to a lower end face side of the connection member 9, and the guide rail 5 is fastened to an upper end face side of the connection member 9.
