PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of which carrying is not annoyance in being non-used, namely in an original usage where an umbrella is used with its put up, by being constantly integrated with an umbrella body; and to provide a portability-improved umbrella and a carrying implement for use for the umbrella capable of further improving the practicality, taste, and fasionableness by improving functional/design effects of a necessary member in adding the function. SOLUTION: This umbrella is provided with a reel part 22 having a pullout shoulder strap 21 at either one of a grip part 13 or a ferrule 12 of the umbrella body 1 and is so constituted as to pull out the shoulder strap 21 and connect its tip to the grip part 13 or the ferrule 12 which is not provided with the reel part 22.
