It is possible to suppress temperature increase of the entire mobile terminal while reducing the battery charge time. A mobile telephone (100) includes a case (102) containing electronic parts, a battery (104) arranged in the case (102), a charge circuit 106 for supplying charge current to the battery (104), a charge control unit (108) for controlling executing and stop of charge of the battery (104) using a charge circuit (106), and a temperature sensor (112) for detecting the temperature inside the case (102). The charge control unit (108) adjusts charge current of the battery (104) according to the temperature detected by the temperature sensor (112). |
