Protective circuit breaker (1) includes actuating element (8) and contact terminals (3-6), protruding from housing (2,10). Contact spring is conductively coupled to first contact terminal (5), while its free side can be contacted by second terminal (3) by stretch-over. To actuating element is coupled slider, whose contact ends abut on contact spring, with slider in housing engaging contact spring to move into contact position against its resetting force.
