<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: since commodities are set on a specific shelf by human hands by confirming them by the eye, wrong commodities can be set on the shelf. <P>SOLUTION: The vending machine is provided with: a shelf 5 divided every brand of commodities; a read means 2 for reading information of the radio IC tag 11 attached to the commodities; a control means 3 for receiving information from the read means to perform analysis and control; and a commodity providing means 6 which is controlled by the control means to provide the customer with the commodity. When it is decided that a brand included in the information of the radio IC tag 11 differs from the brand set on the shelf, the commodity providing means 6 is stopped so that the commodity is not sold to the customer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
