<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing foreign matters from sea algae, small fishes, vegetables or wild vegetables, by which even the foreign matters such as fishing net pieces and hairs having specific gravities, colors and shapes similar to those of the sea algae, small fishes, vegetables or wild vegetables but not having an antistatic property can effectively be removed from the sea algae, small fishes, vegetables or wild vegetables, and to provide an apparatus therefor. <P>SOLUTION: This method for removing the foreign matters from the sea algae, small fishes, vegetables or wild vegetables is characterized by loading the sea algae, small fishes, vegetables or wild vegetables on a loading portion which is circulated on a prescribed route, has many spaces formed in such a size that the sea algae, small fishes, vegetables or wild vegetables are not inserted into the spaces and permit the passage of a liquid, but the fishing net pieces, hairs and the like are inserted into the spaces, and supplying the liquid to the spaces in a prescribed power from a place above the sea algae, small fishes, vegetables or wild vegetables to insert only the foreign matters in the spaces.
