<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communications system for reducing the probability of transmission collision in the combination of specified mobile stations, and the interference between the mobile stations in the communications system, in which the mobile station reports downlink quality information in a variable cycle. <P>SOLUTION: Each of cycle values of the mobile stations is selected from among positive integers 0, 1, and 2. Then, the maximum value of the positive integers is selected so as to be different from least common multiple of two arbitrary positive integers among the positive integers that are other than the maximum value, thereby performing transmission from each mobile station with a selected period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
