<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely and immediately inform a user of an optimum distance between a contactless IC card reader writer and a contactless IC card through neither an MPU nor a CPU and to securely report that a contactless IC card function is locked in such a case. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic field intensity/luminance conversion section 22 detects the intensity of a received carrier of a loop antenna section 1 of an RFID card and adjusts luminances of a blue LED 25 and a green LED 26 according to the carrier intensity. A blinking generating circuit section 21 detects whether the RFID card is in communication from a terminal waveform level of a resistance 4 for load precent modulation adjustment of an RFID function LSI 10 and makes the blue LED 25 and green LED 26 blink during communication. A function composition section 23 puts functions of the magnetic field intensity/luminance conversion section 22 and blinking generating circuit section 21 together and represents the magnetic field intensity and communication state by the luminances of the blue LED 25 and green LED 26 and the blinking.
