<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice synthesizer or the like permitting to obtain a synthesized voice of a long time length within a short time by simple processing or without having anything to do with a storage capacity of a temporary storage device. <P>SOLUTION: The voice synthesizer makes a sound piece editing part 5 retrieve and output a sound piece data of a sound piece agreeing with a sound piece in reading in a fixed form message from a sound piece data base 7. When an ID is contained in the fixed form message, the voice synthesizer makes the sound piece editing part retrieve and output a sound piece data made to correspond to a sound piece reading data agreeing with the reading of this ID. On the other hand, the sound piece editing part 5 selects one by one a sound piece best agreeable with each sound piece in the fixed form message from the retrieved sound piece data. As to a sound piece which could not be selected, the sound editing part 5 makes a sound processing part 41 supply a waveform data presenting a waveform for each unit voice. Then, a synthesized voice is reproduced by performing a prescribed processing to the selected sound piece data and the waveform data supplied by the sound processing part 41 by the portion which can be stored in a cache memory simultaneously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
