<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always offer the same voice guidance from a voice response device which answers by a uniform voice for users against any of a familiar user of the voice response device, and an unfamiliar user. <P>SOLUTION: In order to provide voice response corresponding to various users who are different in degrees of skill or environment, when a PB signal is received in a specified time, the device discriminates the PB signal as a control signal, and changes transmitting voice modes or voice contents.
