PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a naval vessels demagnetizing method, installing a demagnetizing means in an arbitrary position, causing no dead point of demagnetization, and reducing the power consumption. SOLUTION: The generated magnetic field of naval vessels 1 is approximated by a multi-dipole demagnetizing method, and high-temperature superconductors magnetized in the reverse direction with the same magnitude as the respective dipole moments M1, ... M6 are disposed in the respective positions of the dipole moments M1, ... M6 of the multi-dipole. The magnetic fields of the respective dipole moments are canceled by the magnetic fields of the high-temperature superconductors to thereby demagnetize the magnetic fields of the naval vessels.
