PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine tone quality control system, generating an engine sound which an occupant feels pleasant according to the cabin environment. SOLUTION: This engine tone quality control system 1 includes: a sound collecting means 21 for collecting sounds in the cabin RS; and an engine sound adjusting means ECU for increasing and decreasing engine sounds flowing into the cabin according to the cabin sounds collected by the sound collecting means. The engine sound adjusting means is formed by a sound analysis part for analyzing the cabin sounds collected by the sound collecting means and a sound generating part for generating a tone quality signal of the engine sound according to the kind of the sound analyzed by the sound analysis part. According to the engine tone quality control system 1, the engine sounds automatically adjusted according to the cabin environment are given in the cabin so that the occupant can enjoy a good engine sound.
