PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pick-up display device capable of protecting a display screen at a display portion and an image pick-up lens when the image pick-up display device is not used or it is carried, and supplying a good convenience by recognizing the display screen properly when the device is held by not only a right hand but also a left hand to take a photograph. SOLUTION: A first rotary shaft 8 is arranged at the upper end of a body 9. An image pick-up portion 4 having an image pick-up means 3 is held in a turnable fashion through the first turnable stem 8. A second rotary shaft 10 is arranged at the image pick-up portion 4 so that its direction of the axial center is intersected perpendicularly to the first rotary shaft 8. A display unit 6 having a display screen 5 is installed through the second rotary shaft 10. The image pick-up portion 4 is configured to be able to switch over between a housing posture for accommodation within the body 9 and a using posture for usage. The image pick-up portion 4 is exposed towards any position of one side, upper part side, and the other side in relation to the body portion 9, by turning from housing posture through the first rotary shaft 8.
