PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid bearing device having a low torque, namely, decreased in an electric power consumption, having high reliability, and suitable for being miniaturized, to provide a spindle motor given by using the same, and to provide an information device. SOLUTION: This liquid bearing device is structured so that at least any one of surfaces of a shaft structure and a sleeve facing each other has dynamic pressure-generating grooves and a lubricant exists in a gap between the surfaces of the shaft structure and the sleeve facing each other, wherein the lubricant contains a diester which is obtained from a dihydric alcohol having at least one ether bond and one or more kinds of 6-10C saturated monovalent fatty acids and has a number of total carbon atoms of 20 to 28.
