PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system, a wireless base station, a wireless channel control station, and a power control method whereby an error rate of transmission power control bits is reduced so as to maintain the reception quality of the wireless base station in an uplink. SOLUTION: The wireless channel control station 30 is provided with: a reception power difference information reception section 31 for receiving reception power difference information of the wireless base stations; a power control section 32 for discriminating the number of the wireless base stations with which a mobile station makes communication at the same time and controlling the power of downlink control bits on the basis of the number of the wireless base stations; and a power information transmission section 33 for transmitting the power value controlled by the power control section 32 to each wireless base station.
