METHOD FOR CONTROLLING COOLING FOR STEEL SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a temperature history and a cooling finish temperature of a steel sheet with high accuracy in response to a target temperature pattern of controlled cooling.

SOLUTION: The method for controlling cooling for the steel sheet when cooling the steel sheet from the Ae3or higher temperature to the cooling finish temperature comprises the steps of: previously determining enthalpies (Hγand Hα) of an austenite phase and a ferrite phase in the Ae3temperature and the cooling finish temperature; determining dynamic enthalpy (Hsys) defined by the expression (1): Hsys=Hγ(Xγ)+Hα(1-Xγ) from the non-transformed ratio (Xγ) of austenite phase determined in response to the target temperature pattern; anticipating the cooling finish temperature by using the gradient of the dynamic enthalpy with respect to the cooling finish temperature as dynamic specific heat; and controlling the cooling finish temperature on the basis of the anticipated temperature.
