PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal fitting for tightening which eliminates a well known defect point such as the outbreak of backlash and the leak of rain by weakened tightening power when shrinking, distorting and deforming caused by the aging or the dryness of a log, although a general method to connect the log of a log house is to drive a metal or wooden short bar called as a dowel vertically for fixing. SOLUTION: The metal fitting is characterized in that the metal fitting for tightening the log of the log house has spearhead driving nails 11, 12 of the roughly same lengths on both sides of a flange 10 which is arranged at an almost central part and each angle forms an acute angled square pyramid, thus solving the problem by forming the fitting of stainless steel.
