PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table moving device simplified and miniaturized in a link mechanism thereof, improved in durability, safety and reliability by eliminating a sliding member such as a roller, and capable of securing a larger load-lifting height and possible to be provided in any direction. SOLUTION: The table moving device 1 is provided with a base 2 provided on a floor surface D formed by digging down a floor F, a table 3 arranged over the base 2, and an elevating mechanism 4 provided between the base 2 and the table 3 to elevate the table 3 for movement. The elevating mechanism 4 is structured of a first parallelogram link element 6 turnably connected to the base 2 in one end thereof, a second parallelogram link element 7 turnably connected to the table 3 in one end thereof, a joint element 8 for connecting the other end of the first parallelogram link element 6 to the other end of the second parallelogram link element 7, a standing/falling means for standing/falling the first parallelogram link element 6, and a connecting link means 10 for connecting the first parallelogram link element 6 to the second parallelogram link element 7.
