Aspects of the invention relate to treatments for diabetes, particularly type 1 diabetes. Certain aspects of the invention relate to methods and compositions for administering donor cells (e.g., stem cells and/or progenitor cells) to a type 1 diabetic subject and differentiating the stem cells in vivo to produce insulin secreting cells. Certain aspects of the invention relate to kits including one or more donor cells and/or pancreatic differentiation factors and/or immunosuppressant agents. |
