<p>A double pipe heat exchanger easily manufacturable and usable as a part of pipes by bending the entire part thereof, comprising an inner pipe and an outer pipe. The inner pipe (1) is so formed that its cross section perpendicular to its axis is formed of a plurality of balloon-like swelled parts (3) communicating with each other from its center in the radial direction and the outer peripheral parts of the cross section of the swelled parts (3) in the axial direction are curved in a corrugated shape. Also, the pipe (1) is so disposed that the top parts (9) of the wave shape are brought into contact with the inner surface of an outer pipe (2). In this state, the inner pipe (1) and the outer pipe (2) are generally bent by applying an external force thereto.</p> |
