The device (10) for removing pollution from exhaust gases of a heat engine comprises: a particulate filter (12), a sleeve (14) for supporting the particulate filter (12) and inside of which the particulate filter (12) is at least partially accommodated; an outer casing (16) delimiting an exhaust gas circulating passage through which the sleeve (14) containing the particulate filter (12) is held, an annular space (34) being maintained between the sleeve (14) and the casing (16). The casing (16) comprises at least one centripetal deformation (36) projecting toward the interior of the casing (16) through the annular space (34) and the supporting sleeve (14) is joined to the casing from the or each centripetal deformation (36).
