<p>Firearm cartridge with constructional and functional characteristics further accelerating the combustion process of the propellant, or propelling charge, to obtain acceleration of the delivery of compressed combustion gases in the chamber containing the propellant (10) and, consequently, a further increase in the velocity of the projectile along the barrel of the firearm. Advantageously, the cartridge forming the object of the invention is provided with an innovative priming device with an incendiary operation capable of activating total and instant ignition of the propellant (10). Consequently, this cartridge is capable of imparting a greater velocity to the projectile along the barrel, resulting in a noteworthy increase in the precision of the shot and of the kinetic energy of the projectile at the moment of impact on the target, this being proportional to the square of the velocity.</p> |
