<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage implement which has high earthquake-resisting strength and enables a reduction in weight and costs. <P>SOLUTION: The article storage implement is constructed by using latticed panels consisting of a plurality of crossing barlike members. The storage implement includes a bottom panel which is a bearing surface for an article to be stored, front/rear latticed panels erected on the front/rear ends of the bottom panel, and side latticed panels erected on both sides of the bottom panel. Each side panel is provided with an upper reinforcing member, which is attached along the top of the side face of the side panel and has a warp strength higher than the barlike members. The storage implement also has legs attached to the under face of the bottom panel, each leg having an engaging part, which at least can be engaged with the reinforcing members. When a plurality of storage implements are stacked up, at least the engaging parts of the legs of storage implements adjacent to each other vertically are engaged with the upper reinforcing members.
