<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical treatment instrument exerting excellent operability in tissue anastomosis or the like under an endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: The surgical treatment instrument (301) comprises an insertion section (302), an operation section (303) arranged on one end of the insertion section, a treatment section (304) extending from the other end of the insertion section, a first operation member arranged on the operation section for carrying out a first operation using the treatment section, and second operation members (306) arranged on the operation section for carrying out a second operation different from the first operation.
