<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple layer sliding member excellent in friction and wear-out characteristics in many different service conditions such as fluid lubrication, mixture method lubrication, or boundary lubrication conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The multiple layer sliding member is composed of a synthetic resin composition filling holes and gaps and applied on the surface of a porous metal sintered layer 2 formed on the surface of the metal made back metal 1 and the synthetic resin composition comprises phosphate, carbon black, melting fluorine resin, and PTFE in major proportions and further preferably, graphite and/or low molecular weight PTFE is composed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
