PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately receive a plurality of known signals by a receiver. SOLUTION: A data separating unit 20 separates data to be transmitted into the number of data equal to that of antennas. An error correcting unit 28 performs a coding for error correction. An interleave unit 30 interleaves data after the convolutional coding. A preamble adding unit 32 adds an STS to the head of a burst signal. The preamble adding unit 32 is to store respectively a plurality of STSs corresponding respectively to a plurality of the transmitting antennas 14 and to be transmitted for a prescribed period. An IFFT unit 34 performs Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT). A GI unit 36 adds a guard interval to data in time domain. A quadrature modulation unit 38 carries out quadrature modulation. A frequency conversion unit 40 performs a frequency conversion. An amplification unit 42 is a power amplifier for amplifying radio-frequency signals.
