PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna in which the degree of freedom of design is high without being restricted by the thickness of a dielectric. SOLUTION: This antenna is provided with a ground conductor board with a slot, a strip line crossing the slot and a plate-shaped radiating element which is almost parallel with the ground conductor board. A high frequency signal is supplied to the strip line, so that the slot can be excited, and the electromagnetic-coupling of the slot and the radiating element is carried out, so that a power can be supplied to the radiating element.
