PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated type information recording and reproducing device having a function capable of preventing a title of a DVD from being recorded wastefully on the DVD at the time of the dubbing recording of information from a magnetic tape of the side of a VCR to the DVD of the side of a DVD recorder, and also capable of dispensing with editing work in the future by a user. SOLUTION: In the integrated type information recording and reproducing device, after the dubbing is started and an unauthorized copy prevention signal is detected, when a normal video signal from the VCR is not detected, the dubbing is terminated, and the title of the DVD is preserved. When the normal video signal is detected, the dubbing is resumed. When the unauthorized copy prevention signal is not detected and the dubbing is continued exceeding a prescribed time, the device returns to the detection and determination processing of the unauthorized copy prevention signal, and performs the similar processing. When the dubbing is performed within the prescribed time and the dubbing is stopped, data temporarily stored in a buffer memory at the time of the dubbing is not written on the DVD.
