PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device having a function of quickly obtaining a wobbling signal during the first starting of an optical disk by quickly calculating the optical axis shifting amount of an optical pickup. SOLUTION: At the time of first starting of the optical disk, a servo control means 27 turns ON a focus servo and OFF a tracking servo. In this state, an optical axis shifting amount calculating means 28 calculates an optical axis shifting amount X by the equation of X=[(A+B)-(C+D)]/(A+B+C+D)[%]. Then, after the tracking servo is turned ON, an offset applying means 29 applies an offset value to a tracking driving voltage according to the optical axis shifting amount X.
