PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed scanning even in a case of execution of a large SFC program. SOLUTION: On a controller support device 1 side, an SFC diagrammatic representation program 11 is converged to a step/transition connecting relation table 13 of a format executable in a controller 2 by a conversion part 12, and loaded to the controller 2. A control execution part 16 of the controller 2 updates an activated step group management table 14 storing the number of a step that is currently activated and an evaluation transition group table 15 storing the number of an evaluation object transition according to the activated step as needed in reference to the connecting relation table 13, and executes control management such as transfer/non-transfer to the following step in reference to these tables.
