PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool holder maintaining tools in high-level safety with a simple structure based on a technological level. SOLUTION: The tool holder is equipped with a driving motor (3), a driving axis that can be connected with the driving motor (3), and a clamp jaw (2) which is linked with the driving axis (4) for holding tools in such a manner that rotation is impossible. The driving axis (4) and the clamp jaw (2) are connected with a clutch element (5) as one unit, and at the same time, the clutch element (5) which has a simple structure for holding the tool shifts the clamp jaw (2) axially so that the tool is released.
