PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for molding a tire that improves processability and work efficiency for cleaning. SOLUTION: In the side plate 3 and the sector 4 a plurality of vent holes 9, which are for venting the air at the time of tire curing, are provided so as to penetrate from the tire profile face (the inside of the die) to the rears 7, 8. According to the invention, in the rears of the side plate 3 and the sector 4, continuous and circumferential grooves 10 are provided, and the vent holes 9 are made communicant, from the inside, with the circumferential grooves 10. The circumferential grooves have a depth of≥10 mm, and the length of the vent holes 9 is made to be as large as retaining ten times or more of the diameter of the vent holes 9.
