PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance indicator for a golf course, which is used as a guide for a carry from a starting base point of a teeing ground in a range where the carry to a hole of the golf course is visually confirmed, and helpful for judgement of the remaining distance to a green. SOLUTION: The distance indicator includes a display board A or a board body B displayed with only a carry 1a, 1b, or 1c from a distance measurement point a, b, or c in a teeing ground 9, the carries 1a, 1b, and 1c with the remaining distance 1g to a green 11, or total carries 1a, 1b, and 1c with the remaining distance 1g to the green 11. The distance measurement point (a) represents the base point in a back teeing ground, the distance measurement point b represents the base point in a front teeing ground, and the distance measurement point c represents the base point in a ladies teeing ground. The remaining distance 1g to the green represents a distance to the center part of the green 11 from a point indicating a carry, or a distance to the edge on the player's side of the green 11.
