PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical resin composition excellent in transparency, processing characteristics, having small photoelastic coefficient and hardly causing display unevenness due to stress. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises an amorphous thermoplastic resin and a vinyl low molecular weight polymer having 200-10,000 number-average molecular weight. The resin composition comprises the amorphous thermoplastic resin comprising one or more polymer selected from a group consisting of polycarbonate, polyester, polysulfone and polyether and copolymer thereof.
