ORGANIC PIGMENT FINE PARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method in which an organic pigment can simply be obtained in good purity and to provide organic pigment fine particles (monodisperse organic pigment fine particles) having uniform particle diameters and to provide a method for producing organic pigment fine particles in which sizes of fine particles can be controlled. SOLUTION: The method for producing the organic pigment fine particles comprises forming fine particles by bringing an organic pigment solution obtained by dissolving an organic pigment into an aqueous medium containing at least one dispersant into a flow and contact with a solution for adjusting pH of the pigment solution as a laminar flow through a passage (a channel) and changing a hydrogen ion index (pH) of the organic pigment solution in the flow process and controlling the temperature at which the contact flow of the organic pigment solution with the solution for adjusting pH of the pigment solution is carried out.
