The lock has a rocker (12) spring loaded towards a starting position, and a pivot lever (20) pivotably supported on the rocker and spring loaded towards a rest position. The rocker is stopped and the lever is deflected from the resting position to a leading position by a motor, in case of jamming of the hand between a door and a vehicle body. A jamming protection sensor responds to the movement of the lever to stop the motor.
