The device is a purely mechanical drive with a flexible shaft with an outer sleeve that is connected in a water-tight manner via an angled drive to a drive shaft of the running belt. The flexible shaft is driven on the other side by a three-phase motor via an isolating coupling ensuring absolute electrical isolation of the shaft from the motor. An independent claim is also included for a modular band.
