RUN-FLAT TIRE

摘要

A tire whose durability in run-flat traveling is enhanced without sacrificing ride comfort in normal traveling. The run-flat tire is characterized in that, on each side of the tire, a side reinforcing rubber layer having a crescent cross-section is provided at the sidewall section, and a cord layer including polyketone fiber cords is arranged in at least a part of a region A that is from a belt end to the maximum width portion of the sidewall section and of a region B that is from the vicinity of a bead core to a bead filler; the cord layer satisfying conditions of the following formulas (I) and (II): d = -0.01 × E + 1.2 ... (I) d = 0.02 ... (II) [In the formulas, d is thermal contraction stress (cN/dtex) at 177°C, and E is modulus of elasticity (cN/dtex) at 49 N load at 25°C].
