<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of enhancing precision of position relationship between a light emitting element and a lens. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device 10 is provided with a substrate 11, a barrier 19 which is formed on the substrate 11 and demarcates a recess part on the substrate 11, the light emitting element 12 formed on the substrate 11 so that the position of a light emitting layer 16 will be regulated by the recess part, and the lens 20 overlapped on the light emitting element 12 and formed in the recess part. In manufacturing the light emitting device 10, the lens 20 can be formed by adding a material of the lens 20 into the recess part utilized to form a positive hole injection layer 15 and the light emitting layer 16 of the light emitting element 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
