PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an emulsion having excellent fouling resistance and film forming properties. SOLUTION: The method for producing the emulsion is to set the glass transition temperature of a polymer of a core layer-forming monomer to be≥20°C higher than that of a polymer of a shell layer-forming monomer and introduce an alkoxy silane compound in preparing the core layer.
