PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a handset and a curl cord wherein a modular connector and a curl cord plug are not damaged by a bending moment due to an excessive tensile force or twisted force. SOLUTION: In the case of connecting the curl cord 2 to the handset for interconnecting a handset body 1 and the curl cord 2 by freely removably fitting the curl cord plug 3 provided to the curl cord 2 to the modular connector 4 provided to the handset body 1, the modular connector 4 is fitted to a modular connector fitting part 1e formed to the handset body 1 by leaving a gap 5, the modular connector 4 and the curl cord plug 3 are both relatively movable to the handset body 1, and since the bending moment due to the excessive tensile force and twisted force is not exerted to the modular connector 4, the modular connector 4 and the curl cord plug 3 are not damaged.
