PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video camera for selectively using a light emitting diode whose size and shape is different as a substrate mounted chip type for one type and one exterior cover. SOLUTION: A butting face for positioning an illuminating lens is installed in an exterior cover, and the butting face is formed with a difference in level in an optical axial direction so that the illuminating lens can be positioned at two or more positions in the optical axial direction, and the positioning faces at the two or more positions are arranged in the optical axial peripheral direction. The illuminating lens is formed with a protruding part(face) to be butted to the positioning face of the exterior cover. A light shielding member is configured to prevent any unnecessary light leakage from an illuminating lens or a light source, and formed with a face to be put between the protruding part of the illuminating lens and the positioning face of the exterior cover. The illuminating lens and the light shielding member is put between the exterior cover and an electric circuit board on which a light emitting diode being the light source is mounted.
