PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection-type display device or the like, which has a projector that can be used more widely, a screen, and an arm. SOLUTION: The projection type display device includes the projector 20 for projecting images; the screen 10 on which images projected by the projector 20 are displayed; and the arm 30 for connecting the projector 20 and the screen 10. The arm 30 is provided with movable parts 32-1 to 32-3 formed rotatably. The projector 20 is provided with a processing means for performing adjustment process so as to display images in desired states, based on length information about the lengths of the arm 34-1 and so on and angle information about changes in the angles of the rotations of the movable part 32-1 and so on; and a transfer means for transferring images, based on the image information.
