PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system where an optical path is divided from a photographing optical system to a finder optical system and which is equipped with an optimum camera shake correction function in the finder optical system. SOLUTION: The optical system is equipped with the photographing optical system and the finder optical system, the photographing optical system has an optical path division means for dividing the optical path in the finder optical system, and the finder optical system includes a relay optical system RLS forming the image of a subject once. The optical system performs vibration-proofing operation by performing shift that a part of the optical system RL constituting the finder optical system is moved on a plane perpendicular to an optical axis.
