PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing thickness measurement data for storing the position information of a measurement point, attribute information, and past measurement information into a storage, along with newly measured thickness data by unifying for easy verification of them, when measuring and acquiring the thickness data, when measuring the thickness of piping, or the like of a power generation plant, and to provide a thickness measuring device and a tag registration information reader. SOLUTION: In the method for managing the thickness measurement data, in which the thickness of an object whose thickness is to be measured, are measured by the ultrasonic thickness measuring device, a radio-frequency tag is stuck to a surface near the measurement point of the object to be measured, and the tag registers the individual management number of the measurement object, past thickness measurement data, and the attribute information of measurement position coordinates.
