PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level sensor capable of suppressing cost increase without lowering detection performance. SOLUTION: This liquid level sensor for detecting a liquid level based on an electrical quantity acquired from each one end of the first conductor plate and the second conductor plate has the first conductor plate 104 having one end connected to the power source side and having a prescribed resistance, the second conductor plate 105 having one end connected to the ground side and having a prescribed resistance, and the first contact point 120 and the second contact point 121 sliding respectively on the first conductor plate and the second conductor plate according to displacement of the liquid level and connected mutually electrically. A metal material used for first contact point 120 acting as a reduction electrode is constituted of a metal material having lower corrosion resistance than a metal material used on the second contact point 121 side acting as an oxidation electrode.
