PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability for fall prevention even if disposing a compressor on the top face of a refrigerator. SOLUTION: A heat insulating box body 1 with the compressor 16 disposed on the top face is provided with at least two heat insulating sections in a vertical direction, and provided with a revolving door type refrigerating chamber 2 at the upper part and a storage chamber including a freezing chamber 3 or the like at the lower part. The heat insulating box body 1 is composed of an inner box 22, an outer box 23, a foam heat insulator 24 and a vacuum heat insulating material 25 larger in density than the foam heat insulator 24. The total weight of the vacuum heat insulating material 25 disposed below a lower end face 45 of the refrigerating chamber 2 is made larger than the total weight of the vacuum heat insulating material 25 disposed above the lower end face 45.
